Calling your mini-festival Best Night Every is quite the claim, cocky even. You’re putting a lot of pressure on yourself to produce one ripper of an evening. And it seems that this is the pressure that organisers of BNE thrive on, having today released a lineup of guitar-wielding Aussie acts that is sure to sell out their new Miami Marketta home in record time.
The Shire’s indie-bogan Ruby Fields – who apparently has never played in The Goldy – takes the headline slot, along with pub rock rising stars The Chats, Adelaide’s Bad//Dreems, and a bunch of fuzzed-up punks to get your engine rumbling. There’s also a secret headliner which is being teased with the following info:
“that these bunch of ratbags haven’t played the Gold Coast in nearly two years and consistently sell out Australian tours…”
Any ideas? Peep the full lineup and dates below. Presale tickets are available next Tuesday from 10am right here.
