Party & Bullshit

Here’s what went down when we backed it up for day two of Yours & Owls.

You know how it goes when you don’t feel like doing anything but you know when you do it’s going to be awesome? Kind of like hopping into the ocean when it’s super cold – you feel great after but beforehand you’re not into it. Well, that’s what it felt like as we pushed through some severe hangovers and hit Stuart Park for day two of Yours & Owls festival.

Glam rockers The Delta Riggs made it all worth it early on, with the Sydney lads busting out a few classics as well as plenty of new tunes from their latest LP ‘Modern Pressure’, before Canberra-based rapper Genesis Owusu had us thanking our lucky stars that he made the drive up north. Frenzal Rhomb showed us that potty-mouthed punk is still alive and firing, clearing the way for Courtney Barnett who sung us into oblivion with a rip-roaring set.

Again, there was simply too much action to put into words. Peep the gallery above to get the full Y&O picture, Presented by Mother:
