Some of our favourite acts are teaming up to raise funds for NSW RFS, NSW Parks & Wildlife Service and the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

With fires raging all over the country and no sign of relief from hot temperatures and dangerous winds in sight, many Aussies are donating their time and skills to helping services and charities fight these unprecedented conditions. Today it’s been announced that a group of Aussie acts are banding together for a huge fundraiser at Windang Bowling Club and, though we wish we were never in this situation to begin with, we’re super pumped for this show.

Garage-rockers Hockey Dad will be headlining along with fuzz-lords Tumbleweed, punk-rockers TOTTY, experimental pop act Shining Bird and more. No strangers to smokey situations, Dune Rats will also be jumping on the decks for a DJ set on the night. Plus there’ll be a raffle with a bunch of surfboards signed by some of the country’s biggest names, and the whole evening will be hosted by LWA podcast master Dunni.
