Controversial director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi was out promoting his latest movie Knives Out on Vanity Fair when he let slip some insider info he probably wasn’t supposed to.
“Apple… they let you use iPhones in movies but – and this is very pivotal if you’re ever watching a mystery movie – bad guys cannot have iPhones on camera”
Makes sense, as according to Macrumors, Apple has previously stated that its products should only be used “in the best light, in a manner or context that reflects favourably on the Apple products and on Apple Inc”.
So if you’re ever watching a mystery movie and you can’t tell who’s the bad guy, just suss out what phone they have. Easy! Cheers for the hack Rian Johnson, you a real one.
