Our favourite indie-rockers are back with three and a half minutes of pure joy.

Once again showcasing their knack for writing tracks that are stuck in your head before you’ve even finished listening to them, Sydney outfit The Lulu Raes have shared their latest addictive acoustic-based bop. ‘Can’t Run No More’ is complete with strings, plenty of tasty hooks from vocalist Eddie Burton and even what sounds like (but surely couldn’t be) a little bit of tap dancing in the second from last chorus.

“’Can’t Run No More’ is about loving a person, but not being able to talk about it or fully comprehend the feelings, because the person is just one of those individuals who work so hard, accomplishes everything and seems a cut above regular people,” the band says of the track.

Good news too, the quintet will be taking the tune on the road playing Sydney and Melbourne in April. Head to their socials for ticket info.
