Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has just dropped some knowledge on how Deontay Wilder can beat Tyson Fury in their third match on July 18th and our minds are blown (not really).
After a fan in Manchester, England asked Mayweather “Do you think Wilder will win in a rematch with Fury?” Floyd replied with the most Floyd answer, saying “If I train him! If I train him, I can teach him how to win!”
I mean, fair enough, Floyd’s got a perfect 50-0 record, with 27 wins by knockout, so he definitely knows what he’s talking about.
Floyd took to Insta after Wilder lost against Fury the other day to show the Bronze Bomber that he still has his back, taking the time to recognise everything he’s achieved and asserting that he should be uplifted and supported. Props to Floyd, that was a dope move and probably meant a lot to Deontay.
With the third fight set for July, we’re expecting a battle of epic proportions for the final fight in the trilogy of Wilder and Fury. Here’s hoping that Deontay takes Floyd up on his offer, and that he doesn’t wear any more 45 pound costumes to the ring this time…
