The ledges of Melbourne never stood a chance…

There’s something really cool about seeing some of the world’s best skaters taking to the streets of Australia. Maybe it’s validation, or maybe it’s just the way the new Globe vid, aptly titled The Last Time We Went Outside, makes Melbourne shine. Captured on Super 8 and grainy digital, the short is making us pine for the days where going outside didn’t feel like a crime.

It was shot in late 2019 when Globe brought the crew – Mark Appleyard, Sammy Montano and Aaron Kim – to Melbourne to unleash on all our favourite spots and a few new ones. Check it out below and head here for everything globe:
