With UFC’s ‘Fight Island’ in Abu Dhabi officially opening on July 11th, we now have our fighters.

Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway will be shaping up when the UFC takes over the island, Dana White has confirmed in an interview with TMZ. The two fought back in December with Volkanovski taking the fight by the judge’s decision, with White also adding there will be “Lots of testing, lots of quarantining and lots of fighting.”

White says the UFC is working on locking in more fights for Fight Island … including Fabricio Werdum vs. Alexander Gustafsson, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Shogun Rua and Robert Whittaker vs. Darren Till.

White was also drawn to comment on Conor McGregor’s recent retirement stating, “I honestly don’t know,” White said … “but that kid’s got a ton of money,” which was a reference to McGregor’s deal with Proper No. 12.

Stay tuned for more on Fight Island!
