With 2019’s Story’s Start or End still resonating in our ears, the electro trio have shared news of a tasty live EP.

The five-track EP was recorded at some of Australia’s favourite venues (back when venues were a thing) including The Enmore and The Tivoli theatres and celebrates the diversity of Story’s Start or End. From the bouncy euphoria of album title track ‘Story’s Start of End’, through to the R&B-heavy vibes of ‘Resolution’, it’s hard not get fully immersed in that SAFIA sound.

“One of our proudest achievements since starting this band is how we’ve been able to grow our live show into what it is today. We owe this to our crew! Over the past few years they have worked tirelessly to help us improve every facet of our show and their unwavering passion and dedication keeps pushing us to make it better,” the band says.

On top of that, the lads are releasing a SAFIA starter pack that includes the EP, a rad limited-edition shirt, with all proceeds going to helping out people who work in the music industry that have sadly lost their jobs. Giving back in this way is clearly important to them, given they’ve spent so much time on the road since their 2016 breakthrough.

“…in celebration of the 1st anniversary of our album Story’s Start or End, we’ve decided to release a Live EP bundle with all proceeds going to Support Act, who are providing much needed relief for those who work in the music industry. Without all of the crew and team members working behind the scenes the show would most certainly not go on, so this is the least we could do to give a little back!”
