Wish we could’ve gotten more music from the pair…

Continuing the string of music videos for Juice WRLD’s posthumous Legends Never Die album, Juice’s estate just dropped the animated visual for Juice’s song ‘Smile’ ft. Toronto’s own The Weeknd, and it properly tugs on the heart strings.

The vid continues the visual style of Juice WRLD’s ‘Wishing Well’, getting 3D as we see Juice in a field of flowers, set against a purple sky with a surreal af sun and dreamlike atmosphere. The vid features numerous shots of what appears to be Juice’s girlfriend Ally Lotti, in a room looking at old polaroids of them together. Juice then dons angel wings before the vid cuts to The Weeknd in his crashed car, blessing us with those gorgeous tenor vocals as he wears his signature red suit and retro glasses. His appearance sees him enter another car before the vid cuts back to Juice and his girlfriend. The vid ends with Lotti staring at a winged Juice outside her window before a change of scene to an animated Juice on an “Instagram live from heaven’, the young rapper saying “I made it” before the video quickly ends.

The vid also continues The Weeknd’s delving into the animated world, with previous videos for the ‘In Your Eyes’ remix ft. Doja Cat and ‘Snowchild’ being super surreal in their own right while being in a similar vein to Juice’s releases as of late.

But regardless, the vid is hart hitting af, and makes it even harder to admit that the Chicago rapper is really gone. Check it out below to see animated Juice in all of his beauty and glory.
