TASCHEN has announced the release of a new edition of Naomi, capturing the thirty-decades of her career in nearly 400 pages. The book is made up of countless photographs of the fashion star, along with Campbell’s own writings in which she reflects on her career and her numerous collaborations.
Campbell, one of the most high-profile fashion models of all time as well as a member of the famed ‘Trinity’, has worked with the likes of iconic photographers such as Richard Avedon, Anton Corbijin, Steven Meisel and numerous more throughout her long career. So, it makes sense a book for her career would be this big and expansive.
Originally published in a limited ‘collector’s edition’ of 1,000 signed copies, Naomi will now be available for the first time as an XL coffee-table book in an unlimited edition. Along with featuring her own writing and photographs from her numerous collaborations, the book will also feature works from her advertising campaigns as well as magazine covers and video stills.
Speaking on the release, Campbell said “It took quite a few years to put this together, because we didn’t want to rush it. The result is a dream come true. It has allowed me to remember and give credit to all the wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years.”
Naomi will be available for £100 ($181.65 AUD) from the Taschen Webstore. You can cop it here.
