In perhaps one of the greatest ideas of 2020, Arnott’s has taken to Instagram to tease a line of new fragrances that smell like some of the greatest Shapes flavours, ranging from Pizza (it’s easily the best flavour by a landslide dont @ me), Cheese & Bacon and Chicken Crimpy.
“Roses are red, violets are blue. If you were a box of Shapes I’d pick you,” the company wrote on its Instagram, adding “Carefully bottled to capture the essence each crunch brings to you, we guarantee there is no substitute for the love you’ll both share with #ShapesPerfume.” Shutup and take my money already.
Whether or not we get the fragrances soon is another matter however, with a spokesperson stating “We wanted to have a bit of fun and tease the concept of ‘Flavour You Can Smell’ – similar to when you open a box of Shapes – to see what reaction Aussies would have to wearing the scents of our most delicious Shapes flavours.” This is definitely some market research I can get behind, and it looks like others are on board as well, with people writing on the company’s Instagram “God I hope this is real” and “Where can I buy this???”
