Chomping at the bit for the sweet taste of tour, psychedelic dream-catchers Ocean Alley are coming through with some beautiful live music for our souls. Lonely Diamond – Live In Studio is the latest offering from the six-piece, the 16mm film (crafted by frequent collaborators The Sauce) set to transport fans missing the sweet magic of gigs back to their safe place, back to their haven.

Presented in conjunction with A Day For The Beaches, the film is set to immerse fans in the on-and-off stage world of Ocean Alley, as we’re treated to all of the laughs and shenanigans the boys get up to. But that’s not it, as they’ll be joining a live Q&A on the video platform, giving fans in each timezone a chance to have their own little chat with the long-haired, heart-full-of-gold-having larrikins.

From killer live renditions of Lonely Diamond hits (with some glorious audio engineering by the one & only Callum Howell) to magnetic showmanship and bravado, the film is set to take everything we adore from the boys and transport it into our homes. It’s gonna be a cultural event, and you’d be absolutely mental to miss it.

If you’re just as enticed as we are (who are we kidding, of course you are!) the film is set to premiere 8pm local time on Friday 25 September, and will be available in Sydney, UK, New York City and Los Angeles – with ticket buyers able to watch any time they wish within 48 hours.

Although we may not be able to enjoy live music the way we used to at the moment, we should count our lucky stars we have bands like Ocean Alley going above and beyond to deliver those little moments of magic for us, the moments that make 2020 just that little bit easier.
