Spotify’s latest feature is an absolute home run, and no doubt will be met with universal acclaim. Now, a user will only need to know a lyric or two of to be able to find songs, thanks to the service’s latest “lyrics match” feature.
It’s already live on IOS and Android, and it’s super simple. Just type in whatever lyric you fancy, whether it be from a classic MJ tune or a super fresh Anderson .Paak or A$AP Rocky joint. Point is, Spotify will find the track instantly, generating all songs with the same lyric within literal seconds.
In conjunction with the launch of the “lyrics match” feature, Spotify is launching a new set of charts to separately tally the top albums and tunes in the world, with each chart being updated every Monday. The charts however are different from the charts seen in the app, and will be released exclusively to the Spotify Charts Twitter account.
It’s pretty sick, check images for both new features below.
