Who do you turn to when you’re trying to remember the name of that actor, or see who won the Oscar for Best Picture in 2012, or are racking your brain trying to work out what the capital of Belgium is? If you answered anything by Google, you’re a god-damned liar and you know it. Do you know how I know people are inclined to lie about what they google? Because I googled it.

And now the company who we’ve asked some of the dumbest questions in the world is now stepping up to the plate musically with Google Hum. Using the Google search widget or Google Assistant you only have to give a pitchy AF rendition of the track for uncle Google to come through and tell you the name etc, as demonstrated by these people below who didn’t couldn’t remember the name of the most popular song of the last year:
