Even though it’s unclear whether we’ll ever see Bryan Cranston reprise the role of Walter White, he’s still going to the ends of the earth with his projects, picking characters that showcase his crazy range as a dramatic actor. He’s an acting powerhouse, and his titular role in Your Honour sees him continue to push himself in the acting sphere (all while committing some good old, Walter White-inspired crime).
Okay, maybe not as intense as Walter White, but it’s still pretty cooked. The new trailer for the flick sees Cranston continue to struggle with his son’s secret hit-and-run of a mob bosses (played by Boardwalk Empire’s Michael Stuhlbarg) son. The stakes are even higher this time around though, as it appears their secret slowly starts to get out, and of course, shit well and truly hits the fan. There’s also a really cool scene of Cranston sprinting through a cemetery. It’s like a less inspiring, anxiety-inducing parody of the training montage in Rocky. We also get more of an insight into the other characters in the show, as we’re shown how the choices of Cranston and his son begin to affect those around them.
The limited series co-stars Margo Martindale , Carmen Ejogo, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Sofia Black-D’Elia, Amy Landecker, Lorraine Toussaint, Chet Hanks, Lamar Johnson, and Lilli Kay. It’s set to drop on December 6. Check the full trailer below.
