They’ve bloody earned it…

With Victoria moving out of stage four lockdown has come a palpable excitement, Victorians who have been forced to properly endure over the past several months finally getting to indulge in celebrations. Hilariously, the first question from a journo at Dan’s most recent press conference sums up the entire mood of the state at the moment, cheekily asking “Can I confirm you are saying we can finally get on the beers?”

Replying with a little grin on his face, Andrews said “I don’t know that I’ll be drinking a beer tonight. I might go a little higher up the shelf.”

The question of “Get on the beers” has become something of a tag line for Andrews, his response to the question back in May (his answer was no back then) being remixed into one of the hilarious clips throughout this whole fucking ordeal, and if you had no past knowledge Andrews and the extent of his COVID-19 response, you would be forgiven for thinking it’s a legit clip.
