It’s common for punters to get a bit loose at the Melbourne Cup, the annual event showing off the rowdiest and most cooked aspects of humanity. The result has made for some shocking moments over the years, punters properly sending it past the point of no return, and getting caught in the act while doing so. With COVID-19 throwing a spanner in the works this year however, Aussies have been forced to get creative in their partying, taking to the streets and basically wherever they can to get their dose of insanity in. Thus, we thought we’d put together a little collection of those very Aussies keeping the party spirit alive (including one cooked punter licking a Ten News reporter).
