Equally hilarious and cringe…

With the increasing capabilities of audio technology has come an astounding rise in the realm of deep fakes, with AI-powered impersonators essentially stealing the vocal likeness of whoever they’re ordered to mimic. Jay-Z literally took legal action against an AI-powered impersonation of him earlier this year, so you know no one is safe. Naturally, it seems Eminem has fallen prey to the AI gods next, and honestly, this one is so convincing we’d pass it off as a legit song.

The track came about through a partnership between YouTuber Calamity AI along with 30HZ. Explaining the inception of the song, the two YouTubes said “An Eminem diss-track written by Artificial Intelligence. We inputted the title ‘Mark Zuckerberg Diss in the Style of Eminem’ and let the A.I. write the rest. From there, we sent the lyrics to 30HZ, who synthesized and created the vocals.” The pair also stressed that “The audio was not record by Eminem.” Still, it’s kinda impossible not to think it was after listening to the vocals, which super sound organic.

Regarding the lyrical side, there are some moments that are strange AF, but then we remember this is a deep fake of Eminem, who’s one of the strangest rappers out there, so naturally we’ll give a pass to lines like “Yo, I’m comin’ for the Zuck / The epical CEO who’s on a sack of fail / When he ain’t doing shrooms and having sex in VIP / He’s rage-querying his ex-employees that he got rid of.”

But then there are some hard AF moments like “All the people that helped you build that sh*thole of a site / Are shaking their heads in shame at what you’ve become / And they’re running from your dreams like you’re the devil. Shieldin’ their eyes from the tragedy you’ve become.” You’d be totally justified in thinking Em actually wrote that, as it’s savage to the max and roasts old mate Zuckerberg right to the core.

And finally, there are some lines that are so bad they’re amazing, and again, I wouldn’t put it past Em to rap something like this, with a hair-related bar that reads “You got those glossy eyes, and you’re all hairy, too / You’re so hairy, you’re getting hairier every day / I’m making a Photoshopped picture of you tomorrow / I’m gonna make you into a real big hairy steamboat.” Well, I’m sure that had Zuck feeling just a tad insecure.
