Definitely learnt his lesson…

With the holiday season comes gift giving in all of its excitement and wonder, the frenzied rush of opening presents a burst of adrenaline like none other. It’s a mental time, and you’d think almost nothing can go wrong in what is one of the purest parts of Christmas. Think again folks, with Lil Uzi Vert finding out the hard way that even when opening presents, one must be on guard to avoid injury, or in other words to avoid stabbing themselves in the face.

Specifically, Uzi was trying to open a zip tie with a knife (this already sounds like a disaster waiting to happen) when he accidentally stabbed himself in the face. Instead of getting medical help or trying to treat the wound like most would, Uzi took to Twitter to share a video of the gash right above his lip, saying “That ain’t no… just no slit, this sh*t is open.” Somebody off camera then says “That’s a gash, bro,” to which Uzi replies “A real gash.”

Following sharing the video, Uzi took the time to share his new-found knowledge, writing “Don’t open stuff up with a knife it’s not safe.” I mean he’s not wrong. Randomly however, Grimes saw the video and seemed quite concerned for Uzi, writing “U need stitches !” to which Uzi worryingly replied “You think it’s that deep ?”

This is a strange AF story, but it seems Uzi will in fact be okay. Fingers crossed we get to see him make a hilarious song about this one day.
