You may remember Dominic Breen from back when we premiered his beautiful tune ‘Love Is Everywhere We Go’ a while back and the good news is: his songwriting skills are perfectly intact. ‘Lovelost’, which is taken from his forthcoming album, is a melancholic but melodically lush tune that documents the highs and (mostly) lows of… well.. loveloss. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do:

Produced by none other than Kwame, Western Sydney-via-South Africa artist Kymie has just dropped one of our favourite EPs of the year. ‘Innocent’ is the opener and sets the tone for the rest of the trip with Kymie’s impressively silky vocal power on full display over a spacious mini-symphony of synthy sounds. If Kymie wasn’t in your one-to-watch category she definitely should be now. Seriously. Right. Now.
Ready to cry? Multi ARIA Award-winning singer songwriter Amy Shark has announced a new album Cry Forever is on it’s way and shared a stripped-back new tune ‘All the Lies About Me’. Grab a box of tissues and enjoy:
Following on from their most recent 80s-inspired single, Sydney duo Sadboy Season have returned with a bass-heavy banger that maintains their sadboy stylings whilst also delivering a tasty trap beat. Jenaya Okpalanze also lends some ethereal vocals which elevate the track to the next level… How can something so sad have me feeling so good?
Inner West muso Andy Tudehop AKA Hotel has busted out of the gates with this infectious homage to poverty ‘Loose Change’. Spitting bars in his slacker style (that’s slightly reminiscent of Mickey Avalon) over an up-tempo Strokes-esque backing, Tudehope nicely bridges the rap-rock divide. Triple One’s Obi Ill Terrors also joins in for a very tidy couple of verses, with Johnny Hunter also lending some delightful backup vocals.
‘After I wrote the track, I wanted to get my friends involved with it. Not only because of their talents and what they could bring to the song but because I wanted to be able to look back when I am an old man with saggy old man skin and a fading memory be able to have this track as a memory of how much fun I could have when doing something productive with my best mates,” Tudehope says of the collab.
