Who else would you want a birthday message from…

It’s clear that even though The Office ended over seven years ago, it’s still got huge place in pop culture. It’s revival on Netflix and second coming as it were has helped electrify it back into the mainstream and introduce a whole new generation to its brilliant humour and writing. So much so that the stars of the show (not even the main stars) are scoring mad success on celebrity message service Ameo, with actors like Leslie David Baker (Stanley) and Kate Flannery (Meredith) charging $300 and $180 respectively to record short messages to their fans out there.

But perhaps the biggest surprise is Brian Baumgartner (who played the amazing Kevin), who’s doing the best out of his cast mates, and even the world, with Cameo co-founder and CEO Steven Galanis saying “He’ll do over $1 million ($1.3 million AUD) this year in bookings.”

Speaking on why Kevin (I mean Brian) is such a hit, Galanis explained “He really takes a lot of pride in his craftsmanship of the videos. And I do think the quality of the cameo is something that is really important to people. And he just is somebody that takes it seriously and does a great job. He’s reliable. He turns them around quickly. And the content is really funny.”

Pretty sick, and you’d also be surprised to know that the most-requested celebrity not on Cameo is none other than David Dobrik, which again is super random, but not totally surprising.
