Was expecting 2 Chainz to easily come out on top…

In support of the NBA’s All-Star Sunday over the weekend, Bleacher Report hosted two charity basketball games, comprised of various hip hop and social media stars. Included amongst the events was the B/R Open Run, which saw prominent rappers Quavo and Jack Harlow take on 2 Chainz and Lil Baby in a two-on-two game of basketball. The game and Open Run initiative as a whole is aimed at raising awareness and garnering support through donations for some of America’s HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).

Thus, each star chose a HBCU to donate their winnings to, with Quavo choosing Clark Atlanta University, Harlow with Simmons College of Kentucky State, Lil Baby with Morehouse College and Spelman College and 2 Chainz selecting Alabama State University, where he played Div 1 basketball prior to being a platinum-selling rapper (that tried expensive foods and drinks on the side).

The game ended up seeing Quavo and Jack Harlow come out on top, winning 21 to 7. Together they claimed $500,000 USD ($645,472 AUD), with all proceeds going to their chosen HBCUs. It was a pretty entertaining match too. Check out the full face-off as well as some highlights from it below.
