Following on just a couple months after the release of his seventh solo album Man On The Moon III: The Chosen, Kid Cudi has once again graced the hallowed stage of Saturday Night Live. And aside from throwing done some killer sketches and comedic performances, the singer/rapper/actor/writer absolutely rocked the house with his musical performances, paying tribute to fallen GOATs Chris Farley and Kurt Cobain with performances of ‘Tequila Shots’ and ‘Sad People.’
The first performance of ‘Tequila Shots’ saw him wearing a T-shirt with Farley draped over the top, singing the moody tune as he paid tribute to the deceased star, who passed from from a overdose at of 33 after struggling with drug addiction.
His second performance in ‘Sad People’ saw him rock an Off-White white floral dress, one very similar to the type Cobain once wore in the early 90s. Similarly, Cobain also struggled with drug addiction, ultimately committing suicide in 1994. It seems Cobain was a huge influence on Cudi too, with Cudi saying in a past interview with GQ” I try to use [Cobain] as my muse whenever I can.”

Pretty dope. No doubt the recent passing of DMX has forced Cudi to get a bit in his feelings bag, which we’re definitely not mad at. Check the two performances below.
