When the internet is actually funny…

In what was his first knockout loss in over a decade at UFC 261 over the weekend, Jorge Masvidal has ascended to meme fame. The fight was against none other than Welterweight champ Kamaru Usman, who now, after this victory, is arguably the best pound for pound boxer in the world.

And naturally, Usman brought the power to back claims like that up, giving one of the most terrifying single punches in UFC history to Masvidal in the first round. Naturally, Masvidal hit the ground cold, with ref Herb Dean grabbing his hand and calling over medical personnel to make sure he was alright. But that didn’t stop fans from taking the humour in the situation (more specifically Masvidal’s unconscious body) and extending it for an eternity.
