In a total dick move that w’re not at all surprised at, UFC superstar and overall character Conor McGregor has done the unthinkable and bought the very bar where he was caught assaulting an older patron while drinking.
The ‘Notorious’ dropped £2 million GBP (around $3.6 million AUD) to cop the Marble Arch bar, and it was his first move to ban the customer. If you’re not familiar with the fight, basically, while promoting his own Whisky named Proper No. Twelve in 2019, the UFC star offered a round of shots to various men in the Marble Arch in 2018, however he took offence when Des Keogh (AKA the man he assaulted), refused his offering.
Next thing you know is Conor is going ham, beating up on this dude that literally just didnt want some whiskey. Ultimately McGregor issued an official apology and was fined by the Dublin District Court. He even admitted in an interview that the fight was all his fault, so its strange to see him pulling some shit like this now. He also teased buying Manchester United as well, no doubt someone on the team had the audacity to actually say no to him on something. Fingers crossed he doesnt bring this ridiculousness into the A League.
Pretty wild, check out Conors announcement as well the original fight below.
