Catch us in NSW looking on in envy…

Keeping up the string of festival announcements that’s inherent to the tail end of the year, Factory Summer are once again teaming up with triple j to end 2021 on a total high, announcing four massive shows across two cities.

The acclaimed festival will be setting up shop in Queensland and Western Australia this coming December, taking to Eagle Farm Racecourse in Brisbane along with Stadium Park at Optus Stadium in Perth. Brissy attendees will be lucky enough to be reigning in the New Year with the festivities while Perth punters will be getting rowdy on Christmas Eve.

For those lucky enough to be in attendence, you’ll be catching the likes of Cosmo’s Midnight, Nina Las Vegas, Young Franco and plenty more take to the stage (depending on which state you’re in). But let’s face it, after the last couple of months without live music, we’d gladly see anyone we could to get our dose of live music.

Speaking on the 2021 iteration and shift in dates, Factory Summer explains “Shifting from the three-week-long celebration to the four individual shows, allows us to move to bigger sites, with plenty of room for activations, staging, themed bars, rides, zones and of course, space for those who enjoy a boogie.

“After adapting to operating COVID safe events last year, we have deliberately designed our site to allow three square metres per person to provide for social distancing”

Pretty exciting times for boogie-enthusiasts in Perth and Brissy. Be sure to head here to register for pre-sale. For now, check out the full state-by-state lineups below.
