And it comes in the form of his new single ‘Imagine,’ which sees the young muso get even more distorted, wonky and just totally transportive to close out 2021. The sonic palette old mate draws from is especially vivid in this cut, ember like synths contrasting with crushing bass and 808s. But it’s got the euphoria of progressive to match, finding this lush midway between techno, house and all the subgenera in the EDM expanse.
A highlight however that build up around 1:45, which finds a point of meditative silence with orchestral vocals and space between layers. It’s definitely the type of track you’d expect to hear in a packed warehouse or end of festival set, one that’ll push into the next dimension. The sonics also find a nice synchronicity with the cover art (crafted by Made By Tsuki), the pink and magenta hills reflecting the vividness of the track with ease.
Definitely a solid heater to follow up a debut single with. Be sure to buy/stream ‘Imagine’ here.
