According to TMZ, Rocky was handcuffed and arrested at LAX after returning from a holiday in Barbados with his heavily pregnant partner Rhianna. He has since been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with a gun, and bail has been set at $550K, with the rapper expected to pay it shortly.

The charge relates to an incident on November 6th last year where an alleged victim claimed Rocky shot at them three to four times, grazing his left hand with a bullet during the attack in Los Angeles. LAPD have since taken to twitter to announce the arrest of A$AP.

“Detectives worked diligently to investigate and corroborate the reporting information which helped identify the suspect(s) involved,” the statement says. “The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Rakim Mayers, a Los Angeles resident, also known as music artist A$AP Rocky.”
