The first stop of the Melbourne producer’s album tour went off without a hitch…

Eclectic producer Running Touch’s return to the Metro Theatre was well worth the wait last night, the multi-instrumentalist maestro revisiting the hallowed stage for his latest (and debut) album, Carmine. Supported by the likes of Loosie Grind and Juno Mamba, the crowd was set alight and ready to go, roaring with anticipation by the time the ‘Ceilings’ singer stepped on stage.

And of course, the show was a total experience, moody production and minimal lighting helping to curate an ethereal vibe not only suited to the Carmine album, but that of the producer himself. It’s safe to say it was a concoction of feels that permeated the show’s duration; manifesting most notably during renditions of tracks like ‘Juno’, ‘Better Together’ and ‘When I’m Around You’.
