Jungle starts airing on September 30th…

Following an explosive resurgence in the past couple of years, the UK’s rap and drill scenes are finally garnering the attention of Hollywood. Titled Jungle, the new offering from Amazon Prime will be comprised of six episodes revolving around several strangers in the drill and drill scenes and their struggles to make it, despite the adversity surrounding them. And today, we’ve gotten the first trailer for the upcoming epic.

Clocking in at exactly thirty seconds long, the teaser is set to a melancholic beat as a brooding narration explains the genesis of the series, labelling it “Not just another story from the hood” before welcoming the viewer “to the jungle”. Accompanying the voiceover is a slew of scenes revolving around the key players of the series, with UK actors/musicians like Ezra Elliott, M24, J Fado, K Koke and more all appearing in a range of dire situations in the thirty second snippet. In addition, UK royalty such as Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, and Jordan McCann are all set to appear in the series as well.

No doubt one of the world’s most eclectic music scenes is finally set to get its props come September 30th. Check out the full teaser for Jungle below.
