The real crime here is Levine’s b-grade sexting.

Whoever said memes were a dying art form didn’t account for Adam Levine. You’ve probably seen the name of the Maroon 5 singer plastered across the internet over the last few days after the singer was outed for allegedly cheating on his wife of 8 years, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo (who is also pregnant with their third child).

Like all important news, the allegations came via TikTok, from Instagram model Sumner Stroh, who claimed she and Levine had been involved for more than a year, in a video that has now been viewed just 23 million times.

Levine denied the affair but claimed that he had “crossed the line during a regrettable period” in his life, confessing he had “used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.” Make of that what you will.

Since Stroh’s video, four other women have come forward claiming that Levine had sent them unwanted flirty messages, and there are now plenty of screenshots flying around of alleged text exchanges with the singer.

If you’ve ever found yourself on any kind of social media, you’ll know that screenshots equal internet obliteration. As a result, Levine is now Public Enemy No. 1 for the crime of unforgivably bad sexting.
