Talk about an ambitious crossover…

Following years of forward thinking designs and pushing the boundaries, Tommy Jeans are taking a trip down memory lane with their latest drop. Titled the ‘Tommy Collection’, the new effort from the apparel giant pays tribute to the looks that came before while reimagining them through a contemporary lens.

Made up of oversized pieces and neutral colour tones, the new drop reimagines the iconic American Tommy silhouettes through a street-focused lens, helping to bridge the gap between the brand’s roots with 90s hip hop and skate culture. Platinum-selling singer TEMS also appears in the campaign for the new capsule, with it being shot in her hometown of Lagos.

To celebrate the arrival of the new collection, the brand hosted activations in New York, London, Milan and Melbourne to celebrate the streetwear scenes of each of these cities. The Melbourne instalment (which was shot by yours truly – peep the full gallery here) was all time to say the least, as we linked up with local artists Emalia, Squid The Kid, Pricie, Kobi Spice and 3K to test out the new range while out in the city.

The ‘Tommy Collection’ is available now. You can check it out via Tommy Jeans’ official website here. For now, check out some more pieces from the collection below.
