The Knotfest Museum will also be accompanying the festival to Australia for the very first time…

Eternal shredders Slipknot have found huge success with their festival, Knottfest, as of late, the destination event expanding from the band’s hometown of Iowa to the likes of Japan, Germany and numerous more countries around the world. Now, the US band have announced that Knotfest will be heading Down Under for the very first time, unveiling the 2023 dates and lineup for its Australian iteration.

Set to take place from March 24th to 26th, Knotfest will be stopping in at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse and Sydney’s Centennial Park before finishing up at the Brisbane Showgrounds. They’ve amassed quite the lineup for the undertaking as well, with fellow rock outfits Parkway Drive, Trivium, Spiritbox and more fronting the bill.

And in accordance with tradition, the Knotfest Museum will make its way to Australia in conjunction with the festival. Featuring various pieces of memorabilia from the band’s decades-spanning history, the Museum is no doubt the best place to go to experience the Slipknot journey in its totality.
