Today was the most exciting one for us at the RBMA takeover of Studios 301 – because our favourites Flight Facilities played a live broadcast! Ever since we spent a day with the lads on the ‘Down To Earth‘ tour, we know that it’s too easy for them to pack out a venue like The Enmore Theatre – and so it’s a rare opportunity to catch them in an afternoon environment like this. Fellow Future Classic bro Touch Sensitive also jumped in for the broadcast, and we had absolutely no complaints.

Also joining the festivities were Jagwar Ma & Collarbones in the studio, as well as local rock legends The Preatures. We already know that frontwoman Isabella Manfredi can lace an electronic track with ease (she soared on Flume’s ‘The Greatest View), and we’re looking forward to the cross-genre collabos that took place here.

Given his recent accolade of being awards FBi Radio’s ‘Best Producer’ at the SMAC Awards, super-producer and Air Max enthusiast Basenji also came to chill.
