A24 is back with a new juicy new revenge series starring The Walking Dead‘s Steven Yeun.

Fresh off the back of their Oscars success with Everything Everywhere All at Once, which took out a huge seven awards including Best Picture, production company A24 is back with a new dark comedy series by the name of BEEF.

Starring Steven Yeun (who you might recognise as Glenn from The Walking Dead or from Jordan Peele’s 2022 horror flick, Nope) and comedian/actress Ali Wong (Big Mouth, Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey), the 10-episode series follows a twisted tale of revenge, spawned from a random yet fateful traffic incident (who doesn’t love a road rage revenge?).

BEEF follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life,” A24 wrote in a statement about the film. “The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series.”

Speaking on the series, creator and executive producer Lee Sung Jin (Undone, Dave, Tuca & Bertie) described: “Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, A24 and Netflix. It’s a dream team, and I’m honored to be collaborating with them.”

“I’m also grateful to the guy who yelled at me in traffic three years ago. I did not let it go, and now we have a show.” Thank god for that guy.

BEEF is due out on Netflix on April 6. Check out the trailer below.
