It seems all of the Northern Beaches gathered at Darlinghurst’s Harry’s By Guils last night, the ocean-residing community coming together for the debut of the highly anticipated ‘Oysters Think’ exhibition. Curated by artist Raphaella Katzen, the various works (ranging from photography to painting to sculpting) were centred around each artist’s relationship to the environment.
A nice contrast to the usual white box art gallery, the pieces and artists behind them were fresh and charged with plenty of experimentation, a blend that meshed perfectly with the venue of Harry’s By Guils. And with resident deck-slinger Angus Cripps on DJ duties, you really couldn’t ask for more. Check out the gallery above:
