The Happy Place alumni are ending the week on a high…

It’s been a big few years for homegrown rockers Pacific Avenue. A wealth of widely praised singles, countless shows around the country and the establishment of themselves as one of the most promising bands in the scene, they’ve done just about everything you could hope for as a burgeoning rock band on the rise. Now, hot off the announcement of their debut album, Flowers, the Pacific Avenue boys have now announced their biggest Aussie tour to date.

Set to hit the road in late July to mid August, the tour will see the local indie outfit take to the likes of Jack Rabbit Slims in Perth, 170 Russel in Melbourne and more before ending at Sydney’s Metro theatre on August 12th. Thankfully, underage fans will be able to get in on the fun as well, with the shows in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney being all ages. It seems everyone will be able to get the full Flowers experience live, and with local legends Rum Jungle, Go-Jo and more on support duties, you couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate the arrival of their debut album.

And in typical Pacific Avenue fashion, the boys have gotten creative in the promotion of the upcoming LP, taking to Instagram to show off a slightly different side of themselves to ramp up anticipation. And just going off their most recent posts, we’re guessing that on the off chance that music doesn’t work out, the boys have a career in comedy waiting on the horizon.
