Lismore is getting its very own beer festival.

It’s no secret that Lismore had a rough 2022, with flooding and then rebuilding putting many people’s lives and livelihoods in danger. And while there’s still a long way to go, it’s been powerful to see the resilience of locals as they rally and support each other. Now, having been through the shittest of times, it seems only fitting to reward the town with two of life’s great gifts: beer and music.

Hazy Dayz festival, is happening September 16th at Lismore Showgrounds and is bringing 20 independent brewers to serve what we can only assume will be about a million different beers, as well as local market stalls and local food vendors. Not to mention legendary Aus indie act The Beautiful Girls, the great Lisa Mitchell and 60s-inspired rocker Bob Evans to tickle your earbuds.
