He better play that Alicia Keys cover or I’m gonna start a riot…

King of sadboy love songs, Rex Orange County, is finally set to return to Australia for the first time in nearly five years, with the British 25-year-old today announcing an upcoming run of shows in support of his latest album, WHO CARES?

Released just last year, the latest record from the ‘Loving Is Easy’ singer was a welcome return to form for fans of OG works like Bcos U Will Never Be Free and Apricot Princess, with singles like ‘AMAZING,’ ‘THE SHADE’ and the Tyler, the Creator feature in ‘OPEN A WINDOW’ helping to remind us that despite the all the fame and success, old mate isn’t afraid to get in his feels from time to time. Thankfully, Australia will now be able to do so with him in person, with Rex’s tour kicking off at Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on September 19th, after which he’ll be stopping in at the likes of Brissy’s Riverstage, Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion and more.

And to make things a little easier, if you already copped a ticket for Rex’s previously announced 2022 tour will get access to tickets before everyone else, with the exclusive presale beginning at 9am local time on June 14th. The Secret Sounds presale will be available from the day after on June 15th, with General sale going live the day after that at 9am. If his Aussie shows from 2019 are anything to go off (Metro Theatre 2019 will always be a core memory), it looks like Rex’s return Down Under is set to be well worth the wait. Check out the full list of dates for the upcoming batch of shows below. We’ll see you there.
