Big twin energy.

When Surely Shirley’s debut track ‘Honeymoon Island’ first graced our ears, we knew there was something special about the group. Sisters Jenaya and Anisha Okpalanze take us on a cruisy journey on a sha-la-la-filled vessel to a place of swaying breezes, lapping water, and colourful cocktails. It’s hypnotic dream pop at its finest, a tribute to the talent of the twins.

But with such a powerful track that seemingly came from nowhere, we had a lot of questions; where did this sound come from? Who are its creators? Can you draw each other? (admittedly, some were more burning than others). And our pals at Boost Mobile were itching the same spots as well, which is why we roped Jenaya and Anisha into our studio to get the down low on Surely Shirley.
