He’s surrounded by underage kids, their parents, very old members of the Sydney artistic elite, the Astral People crew, and people who look like they could be in a band with Kirin J Callinan. They’re a great vibe. If this doesn’t fit your image of the Art Gallery of New South Wales clientele, then you my friend do not know the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Or at least, you don’t know what is happening on Wednesdays there. In line with the Pop exhibition currently in house, the gallery is hosting a synth pop night every Wednesday from 7:30. Donny Benet is next week. I predict that like this week, people will start off in their seats, but end up on the floor. The boogie was strong.
