Well… kinda. The new Newtowner label not only highlights the fact that Young Henrys is once again supporting the arts by becoming an official partner for SXSW Sydney, but it also has another key feature (other than tasting delicious and making us feel warm and fuzzy). The limited-edition cans, which are available at bottle shops now, feature QR codes that will give people access to event details and upcoming secret SXSW x YH announcements.
Oscar McMahon, co-founder of Young Henrys, expressed the brewery’s dedication to the city and its creatives, saying, “Young Henrys was born from this city and found its kin amongst the culture creators, artists, musos, and hospitality lifers that make it great.”
In terms of making a good impression on international artists, visitors and delegates who will be flocking to Sydney for the festival in October, you probably couldn’t get much better than a frosty Newtowner. Born in Sydney’s Inner West, it’s undoubtedly the city’s unofficial favourite child, and you can find it at just about any gig that’s worth attending.
Head here for more info, and we’ll see you at SWXS Sydney from Octover 15th-22nd!
