We hit the Hordern over the weekend for a powerful evening of emo-punk.

No need to check the pulse of the emo/pop-punk scene at the moment. Just check out the turnout and energy at the Pierce The Veil and Beartooth show at the Hordern on Friday night to see that the genre that gave us black fringes and snakebite piercings is alive and well.
