Enough little blue pills to supply a small country…

When Hugh Hefner passed away in 2017, it’s safe to say the world breathed a collective sigh of relief that the King of Playboy had, well, kicked the bucket. Up until his death at 91 years of age, he’d continued to embrace his persona of being a certified creep, living with increasingly younger “Playboy Bunnies” as the years went on and using them to whatever ends he liked. Now, his widow Crystal Hefner is publishing a tell-all memoir about what Hefner’s final years were like from her end, and it seems that despite everything we’ve heard about him, the Hef was even more of a fiend than we expected.

Titled Only Say Good Things, the memoir peels back the satin sheets on how Hefner became increasingly reliant on viagra in his later years (for obvious reasons), with him popping so many pills like they candy from a dispenser. It reportedly became so intense that he ended up losing his hearing in one ear, a common side-effect of excessive use of the drug. It seems, however, that he was totally fine with the trade-off, with Crystal Hefner explaining that “Hef always said he’d rather be deaf and still able to have sex” before hilariously adding a summative “Weird”.

She’s also lifted the lid on how the two met when she was only 21 and he was 81, 60 years her senior. It seems that their first night together was disappointing to say the least, with Hefner confessing, “Whatever you would like, whatever you would think, or however you would want a night to go, well, it wasn’t that” before adding “I will feel eternally grateful to have been by his side, holding his hand, and telling him how much I love him.”
