What happens when you combine Anthony Van Engelen’s speed, power and precision with the most advanced technology in skate shoe history? You get the AVE 2.0. “20 years ago, skate shoes just gave the appearance of tech,” says Anthony Van Engelen of his new signature model. “Now, we’re in the future, where that technical design extends to the shoe’s performance.”
Over his quarter-century career as a boundary pushing skater with a reputation for unrelenting attack of concrete, A.V.E has become a symbol for the skating’s grittiness and resilience. That energy has informed the AVE 2.0 which features an innovative knit upper with extra stretch for a flexible fit and enhanced breathability. Combined with RapidWeld™ technology and suede reinforcements, it offers durability and improved flick. An external TPU heel cage ensures lockdown, making it ideal for intense sessions.

Below its top half, the AVE 2.0 boasts a wealth of technology, including an UltimateWaffle™ midsole and outsole. This combines UltraCush™ cushioning, TPU midfoot support, and SickStick™ rubber outsoles for optimal cushioning and board feel. The shoe is presented in a neutral yet vibrant colour scheme, featuring cream, white, and black with a pop of neon green.
Accompanying the shoe’s release is a concise collection of apparel, including the Drill Chore AVE Loose Carp Denim Pant in “Pirate Black,” the AVE LS Woven in “Demitasse,” the AVE SS Tee in “Flame” and an AVE Beanie in “White.”
