Not literally, but it definitely felt like every which way we turned, we were seeing colours from the Pals rainbow when we hit North Bondi Surf Club for the first (official) Pals Party from our favourite pre-mix drink company.
The evening really began on the balcony as the sun slowly set over Bondi, with Arianna and Roberta getting the dance floor moving while the venue quickly filled up. It was around this time that we got our first taste of the new additions to the Pals lineup: Vodka, Pink Lemon & Soda AKA “The New Pink One” and Vodka, Pineapple, Lime & Soda AKA “The New Yellow One”. Yes, we can confirm the hype around the new flavours is REAL, and we will undoubtedly be sipping on these throughout summer at Field Day, Let Them Eat Cake, and Summer Dance, where the Pals will be flowing.
Newcastle’s Soul Wun then took things up a notch with a sizzling set on the decks, before the main event, Patrick Topping, took to the stage—completely living up to his reputation as the UK’s premier party starter. The night didn’t stop there, with local legend Gile Provost bringing the heat as the night came to what felt like a very sudden close.
Shoutout to Better Beer, Liquid Death and Grill’d for turning up too! Now, it’s time for a dip in the ocean and maybe a hash brown or two… Welcome to summer, Pals.
