The Canadian Club Racquet Club at Birrarung Marr was over the weekend as the Australian Open 2025 launched in spectacular (and occasionally rainy) fashion.

The night was a true celebration of music, tennis, and great company, with indie rock favourites The Jungle Giants taking over the decks. They were joined by party DJ Brooke Evers and dancefloor legends Nite Theory, while Abbie Chatfield took on the microphone for hosting duties, which may have just been an excuse to hang out with the legend.

Guests including Olympian Campbell Harrison, former AFL player Akec Makur Chuot, and influencers Natalia Kalinoswki, Taylor Reid, and Benjamin Townsend enjoyed refreshing Canadian Club drinks while soaking up the lively atmosphere. Attendees also had the chance to snap a photo with the iconic Australian Open trophies, making the night even more special.

And the fun doesn’t stop there. The Canadian Club Racquet Club will remain open daily throughout the tournament, offering a relaxed space for drinks, shade, and plenty of tennis action, all without the need for a match ticket. It’s the ultimate hangout spot for the Open!
