Hook it to my veins.

Having become one of those “must-visit” Bondi places over the past few years – the kind where you have to be the person who introduces your mates to it – Chuck Trailer’s has built a reputation for their insane burgers, fried chicken and glorious booze selection. Sounds delicious right? How could this place get any better? Well, mop that drool up off your screen while we tell you.

Chuck Trailer’s is officially opening the doors to is York St restaurant! That’s right, you no longer have to schlep it out to Bondi to wrap your laughing gear around their fine assortment of drinks and eats OR, if you’re a real diehard, this now opens up the opportunity for a two-venue Chuck Trailer’s crawl… just saying.

The new digs are something else too. Upstairs, you’ve got the ultimate late-night combo of crispy birds, booze, and beats, while the basement is where the real chaos kicks in – think live bands tearing it up on a half-pipe stage.

The space is dripping in 90s skate nostalgia, with murals from Steen Jones and Sindy Sinn, truck-bed booth seating, and walls decked out in Thrasher mags. And let’s talk drinks: a six-metre back bar stacked with 300+ American whiskeys, disco cocktails, and 16 beers on tap. Oh, and they’re slinging their legendary smashed pattie brisket burgers and wings until 4AM Sunday morning.

“Bondi always felt a little too polished for us, so Chuck’s was mostly opened for ourselves, it turns out a little skate rock and a dance on the bar top was what everyone else needed too. We’re just doing a public service and spreading our wings to the poor folks in the city who have been missing out the past four years,” owners Ben Campbell and Brendan Darcy say.

Opening night? Tomorrow! With a set from Birdman with Bare Bones, Rick Dangerous & The Silkie Bantams, and Neptune Power Federation all playing sets in the upcoming weeks. Follow along here for details and we’ll see you at to 36 York Street.
