Last year CC & PD teamed up to create the Bad Bomber, a retro-infused homage to 90s snow-wear that looked like the kind of gem you’d stumble across deep in a thrift store rack. Now they’ve linked up again for another totally BAD offering, the Bad Windbreaker, and while it would be completely understandable for us to work in some jokes about breaking wind, we will resist, and focus on the epic jacket (for now).
The windbreaker incorporates that classic CC light blue and sweater patterns on the arm, while throwing a suite of pastels into the mix. Co-designed with the duo, we have to assume the reasoning for this colour arrangement was “why the fuck not?!”, which we can 100% get behind.
“It’s vibrant and doesn’t take itself too seriously – just like us. This jacket is everything we love about winter, wrapped into one badass jacket,” the Peking Duk lads say. “Teaming up with Canadian Club for a second year has been a ride. We’ve had a blast bringing this collab to life, and the jacket’s got our energy all over it. We’re proud of how it turned out and can’t wait to see the jackets hitting the slopes.”
To celebrate the unleashing of the limited edition windbreaker and the return of CC’s wearable winter range, they’re taking to Thredbo for a huge après party featuring a live DJ set from Peking Duk on Saturday, July 26th. It’s just one of a slew of events that CC are throwing at Thredbo this winter!
And that’s not all – they’re also giving away the chance to win a FREE trip to Thredbo for you and a couple of mates. Head here to join up!
